Hey There!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be running the continuing adventures of Pulp Nocturne 1930 at Pandemonium game store in Garden City, Michigan this Sunday, December 19, from 3PM to 8PM.
Pulp Nocturne 1930 is a supernatural RPG game setting using the Savage Worlds gaming rules. In 1930 New York City things have ceased being normal and proper. Making a buck is hard enough, even if it is dishonest. Even the dead are out to get a piece of the action these days.
An evil hunger has started to feast on the unsuspecting of New York City. The damned and their minions have found a means and an opportunity and plan on using that to spread chaos and horror to every living soul in the city. Deals have been made with horrific consequences. The forces of evil have started to congregate in vast numbers.
All is not lost. An unlikely group has been drawn together into the struggle by the forces of Order. The heroes must not fail; the city of New York and ultimately the world hang in the balance.
All of you are invited to participate. New and old players are welcome to enter the fantastic realm of Pulp Nocturne 1930. Please take a moment to let me know if you will be participating so I can make plans accordingly.
Metro Detroit Gamers encourages all types of gaming primarily through our 2 game conventions, WinterCon (early December) and MichiCon (June or August). Our conventions offer Board Games, Miniatures (both historical & non-historical) and Role Playing games.

People of strong constitution, courageous spirit, and good moral character to accompany the inventor Mr. Cyrus Grant on a short venture into the aether. Mr. Grant proposes a journey to Luna to investigate a mysterious phenomena on the far side. Those seeking positions need to present themselves in person no later than February 10th, 1889, at 145 San Francisco Street, Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona Territory. Those hired will recieve a stipend of $50.00. Only serious applicants will be considered.
This ad appears in newspapers all over the U.S.A. so you don’t have to be near the address in the ad. Remember when you make up your character concepts that you should be a diversified group.* After all, I know it’s fun to beat everyone up, but if you don’t have any knowledge about how valuable your treasure is you may be taken by those who do. Remember, all that glitters is not gold. Some of my treasures may not be obvious as such and can be subtle. For example, the most valuable item on Mars is “liftwood”. If you’ve never seen liftwood before you may mistake it for common wood (except that it floats in the air). Another treasure is a type of spice and if you don’t think spice is valuable just remember that is why Columbus came to the New World. -Joe,
